Afriscan Construction (Pty) Ltd was founded in 1988 and after company growth, both organically and by acquisitions decided to trade as Sanyati Construction in 2006 for the purpose of listing at the JSE It is the current Afriscan management that were driving the growth strategy. The former Afriscan Construction (Pty) Ltd team continued to trade as a going concern within Sanyati Construction as the Coastal Division of Sanyati Construction. The Coastal Division of Sanyati Construction underwent a management buyout from Sanyati Construction, hence Afriscan Construction (Pty) Ltd was resurrected. Sanyati's contracts were successfully ceded to Afriscan Construction (Pty) Ltd as a going concern.
